Reserve Sales Site At Sengkang Central Is Now Open For Application
The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is pleased to invite interested parties to
submit a bid for the reserve site at Sengkang Central/ Buangkok Drive.
Under the government's reserve list system, a site in the reserve list
would be put up for tender if an applicant's indicated minimum bid price in his
application is acceptable to the government.
SLA has also appointed CKS
Property Consultants Pte Ltd as its consultant to advise on the sale preparation
works. This is one way to tap more private sector expertise and participation in
Government Land Sales. SLA, as the custodian of State land, will continue to
appoint Government land sales agents like URA, HDB, JTC and STB to conduct
future land sales. SLA is open to involving a mix of both public and private
sector agencies so that Government land sales can be carried out in such a
manner to achieve the optimal outcome for the State.
The site at
Sengkang Central/Buangkok Drive has a gross plot ratio of 3.0 and a land area of
21,985.3 sq m, of which the successful tenderer can potentially build up to
65,955.9 sq m of residential floor area.
The 99-year leasehold site is
marketed as "Sengkang Central : The Heart of Idyllic Living". It is close to
amenities such as Compass Point, Rivervale Mall, Rivervale Plaza and Hougang
Green Shopping Mall. It is only minutes away from the TPE, CTE and PIE as well
as the MRT and LRT stations. Familiar schools like Nan Chiau Primary and High
School, CHIJ St Joseph's Convent School and Montfort Junior and Secondary School
and recreational facilities are also conveniently located nearby. The full site
details are available from www.sla.gov.sg or http://www.cks.com.sg/.
A site map is attached for your reference.
SLA was also previously
involved in the sale of a GLS site at Jalan Bukit Ho Swee. It was released on
the reserve list in Nov 2002 and the tender was awarded to MCL Land Limited in
Mar 2003.
