Senior Appointment Changes in the Public Sector

• Ms Chan Lai Fung, Deputy Secretary (Trade), Ministry of Trade and Industry, will be appointed Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Law with effect from 1 September 2005. She will take over from Mr Liew Heng San, who will be appointed Chief Executive Officer, Central Provident Fund Board on the same date. Mr Willie Tan, Chief Executive Officer, Central Provident Fund Board, will be deployed to the Ministry of Defence as Deputy Secretary (Administration).
