SLA offers heavy vehicle park at Defu Lane for tenancy by public auction
1 The Singapore Land Authority today released details of a tenancy for a land parcel for heavy vehicle park use at 42 Defu lane 7.
2 This is to meet the heavy vehicle parking needs in the area. Heavy vehicles that are allowed to be parked at the site include trailers, buses, and any other vehicles which have a maximum laden weight (MLW) exceeding 5.0 metric tons. Two site visits will be conducted on 8 and 9 Sep at 4pm respectively.
3 Details of the land parcel are at Annex A and the location plan at Annex B.
4 SLA has appointed Colliers International (Singapore) Pte Ltd as the auctioneer. The tenancy will be awarded through a public auction tol be held on 23 Sep 2009 (Wednesday), 2.30 pm at The Amara Hotel, 165 Tanjong Pagar Road, Level 3 Connection 1 Function Room. Interested parties can pre-register with SLA before 22 Sep 2009 or register at the counter outside Connection 1 Function Room, before the auction commences.

About SLA
Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is a statutory board with
the Ministry of Law. Its mission is to optimise land resources for the economic
and social development of Singapore. SLA is responsible for the direct
management of some 14,000 hectares of State land and about 5,000 buildings. It
is also in charge of land sales, leases, acquisitions and allocation,
developing and marketing land-related information, and maintaining the national
